Alton Excavation is a family owned and operated business with a proven track record of success and giving back to our community. We offer extensive excavation services, site work, driveways, lot clearing, drainage, retaining walls and more while paying great attention to detail. We made Alton, NH our home decades ago, and we consider our community an extension of our family.

Our Family

When we say family-owned, we mean it. Alton Excavation has two generations working together to serve our customer’s needs. When we moved to Alton 17 years ago, we knew that we’d want to make this our forever home. Our clients are our neighbors, and we want to leave them excited to work with us again. Our children attended Alton Central School when we started PDK Cottages, and as our children grew into adults, our business grew into Alton Excavation. Today, our children work right along side us.

We emphasize quality in every job we tackle. Our crew brings a strong focus on details, without losing sight of the “big picture.” No matter how many steps, or how big a project, we’re able to exceed our customer’s expectations.

We give back to our community. We are a member of the Alton Business Association and frequently donate and volunteer our time as both a business and a family. We believe in the value of community, and we work hard to ensure that our community is preserved for future generations. Kelly serves on a number of committees, and acts as Vice-Chair on the Alton Business Association. Paul and the crew volunteer their time for several annual community events, including Winter Carnival, Harvest Happenings, and more.
